Elden Ring screenshots show mounted combat, a quaint ritual, and more
A set of recent Elden Ring screenshots are making the rounds after FromSoftware briefly pulled back the drapery on its hotly awaited overt-world legal action gage.
Gamescom Opening Nox Live producer and host Geoff Keighley (among others) shared the pictures earlier today, giving us a fresh look at various previously unobserved elements of the game. Cardinal of the most striking images depicts an exercise of mounted combat - with the champion seated atop their horse cavalry, wielding a twin-bladed polearm as they face down a terrific Draco. The waxing moon and a strange light tree mould ethereal light over the period of time picture, lending the whole image a fantastical vibration that wouldn't be inapposite in a particularly well-crafted blacklight post-horse.
Surprise! Hither are new images from @ELDENRING I promised #gamescom wasn't over thus far...Earlier this calendar week @fromsoftware_pr kindly showed me and few others over 16 minutes of raw gameplay footage on Microcomputer. Game is on track for Jan 21, 2022 departure. The Godrick boss combat 😯 picture.chirrup.com/KgwC5U8te5August 27, 2021
Different images in the determine show a hero rushing into fighting against a giant spellcaster while dual-wielding what looks to be a tuck and some kind of awkward-hafted weapon; a collared supplicant practicing a magic ritual at an altar encircled aside human bones; and a twain of nightmarish, robotic-looking foes WHO have colossus chained blades as an alternative of coat of arms. You hump, the usual fearful as yet scenic FromSoftware things.
Unfortunately, the new screenshots have non been accompanied by any radical public gameplay footage of Elden Doughnut in action, so we'll just have to imagine what all of this looks like in action. Keighley did note that Elden Ring is still "on cover" for its previously proclaimed release escort of January 21, 2022.
FromSoftware has also confirmed that you'll comprise able to purpose Elden Ring fast travelling from nearly anyplace on the map, and that it's non just made for "hardened veterans" of its premature games.
